Job Summary

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Pharmacy Technician (Data Entry) to support pharmacy operations by accurately entering prescription and patient information into the system.
  • The ideal candidate must possess strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input prescription and patient information into the pharmacy system.
  • Review prescriptions for completeness and data accuracy.
  • Maintain and update patient records while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Assist pharmacists with administrative and operational tasks.
  • Process medication orders and insurance information where applicable.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of pharmacy records.
  • Communicate with healthcare providers or patients when clarification is needed.
  • Support inventory and stock documentation processes.
  • Adhere to pharmacy regulations, policies, and data privacy standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc qualification in a related field.
  • Certification or training as a Pharmacy Technician is an added advantage.
  • Previous experience in pharmacy data entry or a similar administrative role.
  • Strong typing and computer skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy software systems is an added advantage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 – 5 proven experience in an HR role.
  • Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, etc.) is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and employee management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software/tools.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
