Lead Electrical Assurance Consultant / Lead Electrical Assurance Associate
Key Responsibilities
- Review contractor electrical engineering deliverables and technical submissions.
- Verify electrical installations including substations, transformers, switchgear, power
- distribution systems, MCCs, cables, lighting, earthing and lightning protection systems.
- Conduct site inspections and technical audits to confirm compliance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Validate project progress and provide technical input into contractor payment certification.
- Identify technical risks, non-conformities and quality concerns.
- Prepare assurance reports and recommendations.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical C Electronics Engineering, Power Engineering or related discipline.
- Professional registration such as COREN, PE, CEng or equivalent.
- Associate Level: Minimum 6 years relevant experience; Consultant Level: Minimum 12 years relevant experience on industrial, oil C gas, petrochemical, refinery, fertilizer, power generation, transmission or major infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems including HV, MV and LV networks, substations, switchgear, transformers, protection systems and power distribution.
- Familiarity with IEC, IEEE, NFPA and related industry standards.
- Consulting, Owner’s Engineer, EPC/EPCM, Third-Party Inspection, Project Assurance or Technical Audit experience will be a strong advantage.
Preferred Certifications
- PMP, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, NEBOSH, IEEE Membership, Electrical Safety Certification, Protection C Control Certification or equivalent.
- Candidates with a background in independent assurance, consulting, construction supervision, project verification, technical auditing or owner’s engineering are particularly encouraged to apply.
