Company Driver
Location: Ode Remo, Ogun State
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious, and experienced Driver to support the transportation needs of our automobile manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting personnel, documents, materials, and company vehicles while ensuring compliance with road safety regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive company vehicles to transport staff, visitors, materials, and documents as assigned.
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of passengers and deliveries.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
- Report vehicle faults, accidents, or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks, mileage records, and fuel consumption records.
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness and proper maintenance at all times.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Assist with vehicle registration, licensing, and routine servicing schedules.
- Support logistics and administrative operations when required.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and courtesy while performing duties.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC, NECO, GCE, or equivalent qualification.
- Possession of a valid Nigerian Driver\’s License with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 3 years\’ proven driving experience, preferably in a corporate or manufacturing environment.
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks.
- Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and professionalism.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours when necessary.
- Knowledge of local and interstate routes is an added advantage.
