Job Summary

• The Head of Finance is responsible for managing the organization’s financial strategy, daily operations, and regulatory compliance.
• He/She willact as a strategic advisor to the CEO and board, balancing long-term growth objectives with internal financial stewardship.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of the Management Account.
• Internal controls, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Expenses monitoring and review
• Compliance reporting to statutory and legal authorities
• Supervise accounts receivable, payables and manage cash flow
• Supervise the treasury on reconciliation and other financial-related tasks
• Journals.
• Save money for the company on procurement activities
• Invest the company’s reserves in the best investment available
• Provide financial support and advice on contracts and related transactions
• Attend corporate meetings and share financial information beneficial to the company
• Inventory and fixed assets management.
• Monitor collection processes for accuracy
• Continuously work to understand and mitigate losses to ensure the highest levels of revenue recognition.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of industry trends relative to revenue assurance practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Proven experience as a head of finance or a similar position.
• Solid understanding of financial management and accounting.
• Knowledge of accounting software.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Effective leadership qualities.
