Internal Control Officer
Location: Ago Palace Way, Lagos
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as an Internal Control Officer located in Lagos. The Internal Control Officer will be responsible for day-to-day vouching of accounting tasks, financial records, financial statements, and complete inventory audit.
- Assists the Head of Internal Control to ensure that the company’s inventory records are well maintained.
- Carry out weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly remote and physical audit of all branches and warehouses.
- Assist the HIC in the conduct continuous physical verification, conditions, controls and reporting fixed assets.
- Assist the HIC in the conduct physical verification, authentication, validations, security custodial, and reporting of all business documents.
- Carry out any other task that will be assigned by all superior personnel.
Qualifications
- Experience with financial statements and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience in finance and accounting.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Bachelor\’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Professional certification is a plus.
