Electrical Engineer
Job Objectives:
- To achieve maximum performance within assigned period by putting in your best to ensure that targets are met and required reports are made on time. To make sure Gen-sets wired are done in accordance to company standard.
Responsibilities:
- To be knowledgeable in both Mechanical and Electrical aspect of the job
- To test the gen-setperfectly
- Design, develop, test and supervise assembling of electrical component on gen-sets, machines and other related jobs.
- To ensure that loading machine is in good condition, clean and working perfectly.
- Troubleshooting of Electrical devices and resolving Electrical faults
- Positioning of the load bank near the control panel to enable easy reading and bank cable should be properly tightened on the control panel and the load bank.
- To ensure all load bank operators have knowledge about load tests of all gen-set capacity.
- To ensure at all times that Diesel tanks and batteries are properly cleaned before switching on the equipment.
- To ensure all the parts of the gen. set are properly tightened and availability of Oil/ water as required.
- Check for any abnormal noise from any part of the gen-set, leakages of oil, water, and diesel or air before loading the gen.
- To check the model controller reading (voltage, oil pressure, water temperature, battery, battery volt etc.).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Gen-Sets Production.
- Certificate Of Artisanship / City and Guild Craft certificate,
- OND, HND, B. Electrical Engineering field.
