Head of Boarding
\A reputable international secondary school in Eastern Nigeria seeks an experienced and passionate Head of Boarding to lead its boarding community.
Role Summary:
Responsible for the overall welfare, safety, and development of boarding students, while ensuring a structured, nurturing, and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee student welfare, pastoral care, and discipline
- Manage boarding operations, routines, and activities
- Ensure health, safety, and safeguarding compliance
- Supervise boarding staff and facilities
- Liaise with parents and support student development
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 7–10 years’ relevant experience, including boarding school experience
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong leadership, organisational, and pastoral care skills
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
