Digital Growth and Communication Manager

  • Own and manage Stella Maris Schools’ presence across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, TikTok (where applicable), and other digital channels.
  • Develop and maintain a rolling content calendar at least 2–4 weeks in advance.
  • Plan, write, schedule, publish, and monitor engaging content across all platforms.
  • Lead digital storytelling around school events, student achievements, admissions, staff highlights, culture, and community.
  • Coordinate photographers, videographers, designers, and external creative partners to deliver high-quality content.
  • Manage website content in collaboration with the IT team, ensuring information is current, accurate, and aligned   with social communications.
  • Produce newsletters, announcements, parent communications, and digital campaigns.
  • Support admissions, marketing, and school growth initiatives through strategic digital campaigns.
  • Monitor engagement, analyze performance metrics, and continuously improve content strategy.
  • Protect the Stella Maris brand by ensuring accuracy, professionalism, consistency, and attention to detail across every communication.
  • Collaborate effectively with Admissions, IT, HR, Academics, School Leadership, and external vendors to deliver projects on schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience managing social media and digital communications.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong understanding of content strategy, digital marketing, and brand management.
  • Experience managing multiple social media platforms professionally.
  • Ability to coordinate creative teams and external vendors.
  • Experience with content scheduling and analytics tools.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and consistently meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in an educational institution or mission-driven organization.
  • Experience managing websites using a Content Management System (CMS).
  • Knowledge of Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn, YouTube Studio, Google Analytics, and Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience supporting paid digital advertising campaigns.
