Hospitality Accountant
A prestigious luxury hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos is seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong understanding of hospitality finance. We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized professional to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Manage daily revenue reconciliation across hotel and restaurant operations.
- Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and petty cash.
- Process accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements.
- Monitor budgets and control operational costs.
- Ensure accurate inventory costing and stock reconciliations.
- Oversee payroll preparation and statutory deductions.
- Prepare and file tax returns while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Monitor financial controls and recommend process improvements.
- Work closely with departmental managers to ensure financial efficiency across operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- ICAN, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years’ accounting experience, within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with hotel or restaurant POS systems is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines.

Monthly salary is N450,000.
