Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role for an Asset Officer located in Nigeria.
• The Asset Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate asset records, tracking asset movements, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with asset management policies.
• This role also includes performing inventory management, preparing reports, and providing recommendations to improve asset utilization and overall efficiency.
• The Asset Officer will work closely with other departments to support operational needs and develop strategies for effective asset control.

Qualifications

• Experience in Asset Management, Inventory Management, and Audit processes
• Knowledge of Procurement and Supply Chain Operations
• Strong Analytical, Organizational, and Problem-Solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially in Excel for reporting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across departments
• Understanding of asset tracking systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools is a plus
• Familiarity with the energy or engineering sector will be an advantage
• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
