Medical Lab Scientist – Chemistry
- Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports.
- Monitoring, reporting, recording changes and escalating critical values in patient laboratory results.
- Storing and setting up laboratory equipment
- Collecting samples: Collecting blood, tissue, and other samples from patients
- Preparing samples: Labeling and preparing samples for testing
- Running tests: Performing routine tests and analyzing samples
- Recording data: Recording test data and results in patients’ medical records
- Operating equipment: Using and maintaining laboratory equipment, such as microscopes and cell counters
- Reporting results: Discussing results and findings with physicians or supervisors
- Ensuring quality control: Maintaining quality control of samples and adhering to laboratory standards
- Maintaining records: Maintaining accurate records and reporting data
- Matching blood: Matching blood for transfusions
- Testing for drug levels: Testing for drug levels in the blood
VERY IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS —-
- Must be able to proficiently use 5 parts hematology analyzer / semi-auto chemistry analyzer / FIA immunoassay machine / ISE machine / ABG analyzer and lab incubator for MCS
- Minimum of 3years working experience
