Responsibilities
System Monitoring and Surveillance:
- Monitor customer energy systems on a 24/7 shift basis using Arnergy’s surveillance and monitoring platforms.
- Continuously monitor system performance to proactively identify faults, alarms, abnormal events, and service interruptions.
- Detects system anomalies early and initiates appropriate response actions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure real-time visibility of deployed energy systems through available monitoring and analytics tools.
Incident and Fault Management:
- Perform first-level technical troubleshooting and provide remote support where applicable.
- Escalate alarms, incidents, and unresolved technical issues to the appropriate resolver teams within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Create, assign, monitor, update, and close incident tickets while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Conduct proper fault diagnosis and technical demarcation before escalation.
- Track incident progress and follow up with resolver teams until successful resolution.
- Ensure all incidents are properly documented and closed in accordance with operational procedures.
Customer and Stakeholder Support:
- Provide timely first-line technical support to customers experiencing system issues.
- Collaborate closely with the Customer Experience team to ensure prompt communication and resolution of customer concerns.
- Provide regular status updates to customers and internal stakeholders on ongoing incidents.
- Coordinate stakeholder notifications for planned maintenance activities and unplanned service interruptions.
Operational Support:
- Support field service and operations engineers by providing system monitoring insights, analytics, and remote diagnostics.
- Collaborate with Software, Embedded Systems, IT, and other support teams to improve system monitoring and operational visibility.
- Maintain accurate operational records, reports, and surveillance logs.
- Document recurring issues and contribute to the organization’s technical knowledge base. Participate in shift handovers to ensure continuity of surveillance operations.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve monitoring processes, alarm management, and operational efficiency.
- Recommend enhancements to surveillance tools, reporting, and operational procedures.
- Support the implementation of process improvements that enhance service reliability and customer satisfaction.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the line manager.
Requirements and Skills
- You’ll be a good fit for this role if you have:
- 1–3 years of experience in technical support, system monitoring, network operations, energy systems, or a similar technical environment is an advantage.
- Experience working in a shift-based or 24/7 operations environment is desirable.
- Basic understanding of electrical power systems, solar energy systems, or battery energy storage systems is an advantage.
- Familiarity with monitoring platforms, SCADA systems, IoT platforms, or remote monitoring applications.
- Knowledge of incident management and ticketing systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to interpret system alarms, logs, and performance data.

Description
- As Account Manager, Office Buildings, you will drive Arnergy’s commercial sales into the corporate real estate and office occupier segment.
- You will position Arnergy’s solar PV, battery storage, and energy management systems as the premium solution for facility managers, property developers, and corporate occupiers.
You will:
Vertical-Specific Sales & Business Development
- Identify, target, and develop new accounts across commercial office towers, corporate headquarters, business parks, co-working hubs, and mixed-use developments.
- Map energy consumption, generator capacities, diesel spend, and ESG reporting obligations within target accounts to build a data-driven value proposition.
- Target property developers and real estate investment companies to embed Arnergy as the preferred solar partner in new developments at design stage.
- Engage corporate occupiers directly, particularly professional services firms, banks, telecoms companies, and multinationals with energy cost and ESG reporting mandates.
Solution Scoping & Proposal Development:
- Work with Technical Services to scope systems for large commercial buildings: rooftop PV, carport installations, and battery storage for grid/generator backup.
- Develop financial models covering TCO, diesel displacement, capital expenditure vs. financing options, and payback period — tailored to corporate financial decision frameworks.
- Prepare and present Board-level proposals and investment papers, adapting technical content for executive and non-technical audiences.
- Develop multi-building proposals for property groups or facility management companies managing several office sites.
Account Management & Relationship Development:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of active office building accounts, maintaining high satisfaction, visibility into system performance, and readiness to expand to additional floors, buildings, or corporate campuses.
- Proactively engage facility managers and estate companies around planned building upgrades, expansions, or new tenant requirements that could trigger additional energy system needs.
- Track energy performance data for key accounts and present periodic energy savings reports to reinforce value and identify upsell opportunities.
- Serve as the primary commercial contact for account escalations, coordinating swiftly with CX, O&M, and Technical teams.
Reporting & Market Intelligence:
- Submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly pipeline and revenue reports via Arnergy’s CRM.
- Monitor commercial real estate developments — new office tower completions, building
- refurbishments, corporate relocations — and convert intelligence into proactive pipeline activity.
- Report on competitor activity, market pricing trends, and customer objections in the corporate real estate space.
Requirements and Skills
You’ll be a good fit for this role if you have the experience below:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 2 years selling to commercial real estate, facility management, or corporate accounts in Nigeria.
- Demonstrable track record of winning and managing high-value corporate accounts requiring multi-stakeholder engagement.
- Strong commercial and financial fluency — able to construct and defend investment cases, ROI models, and payback analyses at board level.
- Excellent written and verbal communication — proposal writing, formal presentations, and board-level engagement.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting platforms.

- Experience with large-ticket capital equipment, property technology, or energy solution sales in a corporate real estate context.
- Understanding of solar PV, battery storage, or energy management systems (full technical training will be provided).
- Experience with asset financing sales models.
