HIAB Driver
Job Summary
- A HIAB driver (lorry-mounted crane operator) is responsible fordriving specialized trucks to transport goods and operating the hydraulic crane to load, unload, and position heavy materials.
Responsibilities
- Crane Operation: Safely operate lorry-mounted cranes (HIAB) to lift and position heavy items.
- Driving/Transport: Drive heavy goods vehicles (HGV) to transport materials to and from sites safely and efficiently.
- Load Security: Secure loads securely to the vehicle before transporting.
- Maintenance: Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections, including maintenance of the crane and truck.
- Compliance & Safety: Adhere strictly to traffic laws and workplace health and safety protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and inspections.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience operating a HIAB or similar lorry-mounted crane.
- Physical Ability: Ability to perform manual work, which may involve working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: N120,000 net monthly.
- Transport Allowance, Overtime, HMO and Leave Allowance.
