Role Description
- This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Laboratory Scientist, based in Lagos. The role involves performing diagnostic tests and analyses in the laboratory to ensure accurate and prompt results. Responsibilities include processing specimens, conducting quality control procedures, maintaining laboratory equipment, adhering to established protocols, and collaborating with the healthcare team to provide excellent patient care.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Technology and Laboratory Medicine practices
- Strong Laboratory Skills with expertise in specimen handling and testing procedures
- Knowledge of Pathology and interpreting diagnostic outcomes
- Experience in implementing and adhering to Quality Control standards in laboratory settings
- Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist with a valid practice license
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Prior experience in a diagnostic or healthcare setting is a plus
