Role Overview
- We are seeking a reliable, organized, and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to support the day-to-day warehouse operations by ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of goods.
- The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining inventory accuracy, keeping the warehouse clean and organized, and ensuring all warehouse activities comply with company procedures and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against delivery notes and purchase orders.
- Assist with loading, unloading, packing, and dispatching products.
- Arrange and store products properly to maximize warehouse space and ensure easy accessibility.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer and branch orders accurately and on time.
- Conduct routine stock counts and assist with periodic inventory audits.
- Update inventory records and warehouse documentation accurately.
- Ensure proper labeling and identification of all products and materials.
- Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety within the warehouse.
- Report damaged, missing, or expired products to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Assist in monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of low inventory.
- Follow warehouse operational procedures and health & safety regulations at all times.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment safely (where authorized).
- Support other warehouse activities as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor.
Qualifications & Experience
- Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or any related discipline.
- 0–2 years of warehouse, inventory, or logistics experience is an added advantage.
- Fresh OND graduates with a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Female candidates are preferred.
