Job Description

  • We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team at hotel capitol.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and provide excellent customer service
  • Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries
  • Manage reservations and booking systems
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records
  • Address guest concerns and ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an HND / BSc Degree with 1 – 2 years experience
  • Previous experience in hospitality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills (knowledge of hotel booking systems is a plus)
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Must have completed NYSC
  • Proximity to work location (Ogba, Agege, Ojota, Ketu, Ojodu Berger, Akute, Ikeja) axis.

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a skilled and dependable Hotel Cook to prepare high-quality meals in accordance with hotel standards and guest preferences.
  • The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, committed to cleanliness and hygiene, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and room service orders) according to established recipes and menus.
  • Assist in menu planning and food presentation to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Ensure all meals are prepared in a timely manner to meet guest expectations.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, cooking utensils, and food storage areas.
  • Follow proper food handling procedures and comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor food stock and report shortages or low inventory to the chef or kitchen manager.
  • Assist in receiving and properly storing deliveries.
  • Minimize waste and contribute to cost control by using ingredients efficiently.
  • Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications.
  • Proven experience as a cook in a hotel environment.
  • Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Familiarity with sanitation regulations and food safety guidelines.
