Farm Worker / Farm Assistant
Location: Ogbese, Akure North, Ondo State
Salary: ₦1,000,000 Per Year (Approximately ₦83,333 Per Month)
Working Schedule: 6 Days Per Week
We are looking for a hardworking, honest, and reliable Farm Worker to join our growing agricultural team in Ogbese. The successful candidate will assist with the daily operations of the farm, including vegetable production, crop maintenance, harvesting, and general farm activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Land preparation and bed making
- Planting of tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and other crops
- Watering and irrigation management
- Weeding and field sanitation
- Fertilizer application
- Chemical spraying and crop protection
- Monitoring crops for pests and diseases
- Harvesting and sorting produce
- Loading and unloading farm materials
- General farm cleaning and maintenance
- Assisting with farm records and inventory when required
- Caring for farm tools and equipment
- Supporting supervisors with other farm-related tasks
Requirements:
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors
- Honest, responsible, and hardworking
- Ability to follow instructions
- Previous farming experience is an advantage but not compulsory
- Willingness to learn modern farming practices
