- This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating engaging content, producing videos, building online communities, and using social media to generate measurable business results.
- As one of Nigeria’s leading manufacturers of roofing, steel framing, and solar energy solutions, we are looking for someone who can bring our brand to life by showcasing our products, manufacturing processes, customer projects, and company culture.
- Working closely with the Marketing, Sales, Production, and Customer Service teams, you will create compelling content that connects with homeowners, contractors, distributors, architects, engineers, developers, and businesses across Nigeria.
- If you are passionate about social media marketing, storytelling, and content creation, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- As the Social Media Specialist, you will take ownership of Fabcom’s social media presence from strategy through execution.
- You will develop and implement platform-specific content strategies that support the company’s marketing objectives, increase brand awareness, generate qualified enquiries, and strengthen customer engagement.
- Your responsibilities will include planning monthly content calendars, researching industry trends and competitor activities, recommending new content ideas, and identifying opportunities to improve performance across Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- You will spend time both in the office and around our factory, warehouses, customer project sites, exhibitions, and events capturing high-quality photos and videos.
- You will create short-form videos, YouTube content, graphics, carousels, educational posts, promotional campaigns, behind-the-scenes content, and compelling copy that reflects the Fabcom brand.
- In addition to content creation, you will manage the day-to-day operation of our social media channels by scheduling and publishing content, maintaining brand consistency, engaging with our online community, responding to comments and direct messages, answering customer enquiries, and escalating qualified sales enquiries to the appropriate team.
- The role also involves planning, filming, and editing videos such as factory tours, product demonstrations, installation projects, customer testimonials, educational roofing content, employee stories, product launches, and event coverage.
- Performance measurement is an important part of this position.
- You will monitor social media performance, analyse metrics such as reach, engagement, follower growth, video views, watch time, qualified leads, WhatsApp enquiries, and phone enquiries, and prepare monthly reports with recommendations for continuous improvement.
- You will work closely with the Sales, Production, Customer Service, Human Resources, and Management teams to ensure that all published content aligns with Fabcom’s brand identity, product launches, marketing campaigns, and overall business objectives.
How Success Will Be Measured
- Your performance will be evaluated based on measurable business outcomes, including growth in followers across Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, engagement rates, content production, video performance, qualified leads generated, customer enquiries received, response time to online enquiries, successful campaign execution, and the quality and accuracy of monthly performance reports.
