Operations Supervisor
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a small or medium-sized business environment and a proven track record of implementing systems, improving productivity, and managing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead operational improvements that contribute to increased profitability, sustainable growth, and enhanced customer experience.
- Oversee and coordinate daily business operations
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Monitor operational KPIs and prepare management reports
- Improve staff productivity and accountability
- Manage inventory controls and operational processes
- Coordinate vendors, suppliers, and service providers
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions
- Lead process improvement initiatives
- Support management in strategic planning and execution
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting across departments
Requirements
- Must have directly managed operations in a cargo, courier, freight forwarding, e-commerce, or cold chain logistics company. This is non-negotiable.
- Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Strong Excel and reporting skills
- Experience developing KPIs and operational reports
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Must Reside Within Idimu- Ikotun Axis
