Registered Nurse (RN)
Role Summary
- Provide compassionate nursing care in our general medical and surgical wards.
- You will assess patient needs, administer medications, and promote recovery through evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and document findings electronically and physically.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and wound care.
- Monitor vital signs and report abnormalities.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Participate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary meetings.
Qualifications & Examinations
- Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.NSc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Nursing
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN), including successful indexing and examination via the NMCN portal
- Minimum 1 year post-NYSC experience in a hospital setting.
Required Certification & Licensing:
- Valid NMCN practising licence (renewed every 2 years)
- Completion of NMCN Professional Qualifying Examination
