Farm Manager
We are seeking a highly disciplined, experienced, and result-oriented Farm Manager to oversee and coordinate daily farm operations.
Location: Nsit Ubium LGA, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria
JOB SUMMARY
The ideal candidate must possess strong practical knowledge of commercial pig farming and must be capable of presenting reports in excel, driving productivity, reducing mortality, improving feed conversion efficiency, and managing staff professionally.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Animal Science, Agriculture, Veterinary Technology, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3–5 years practical experience managing a commercial pig farm
- Strong understanding of:
- Pig breeding systems
- Farrowing management
- Feed formulation basics
- Pig disease management
- Farm record systems
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to manage farm workers effectively
- High level of honesty, discipline, and accountability
- Good problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets
- Computer literacy is a must.
