Construction Lab Technician
Job Description
- The Laboratory Technicians will be responsible for carrying out various types of construction laboratory tests, including soil tests, asphalt tests, concrete tests, and field tests, to meet applicable construction standards.
A summary of the role’s responsibilities is as follows:
- Preparation and maintenance of laboratory testing of concrete, soil, asphalt or aggregate.
- Assist on secondary testing of soil, concrete and asphalt relating to permeability, strength and materials acceptance.
- Recording samples according to applicable construction standards.
- Compiling and inputting testing results.
- Keeping the laboratory in compliance with accreditation standards.
- Recording and maintaining equipment calibration and verification.
- Proficient in data entry.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an OND / HND / B.Sc Degree with 2 – 5 years experience.
