Job Summary

• Responsible for planning, surveying, and designing Outside Plant (OSP) fiber optic networks for FTTH deployments. Ensures scalable, cost-effective, and build-ready designs that meet industry standards and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design FTTH OSP networks (backbone, feeder, distribution, drop) using GPON/XGS-PON
• Produce OSP layouts, route maps, splice diagrams, and construction drawings
• Perform field surveys, route validation, and infrastructure assessments
• Prepare BOMs, cost estimates, and as-built documentation
• Provide technical support during construction, testing, and commissioning
• Ensure compliance with telecom standards and quality requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• 3–7 years experience in OSP fiber network design
• Proven FTTH / GPON / XGS-PON project experience
• Strong knowledge of underground, aerial, and HDD deployments

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD, QGIS/ArcGIS or similar OSP design tools
• Fiber planning, splice design, splitter ratios, and capacity planning
• Solid understanding of fiber optic standards and materials
