MEP Project Engineer
Job Summary
- We are hiring Project Engineers to oversee mechanical inspections, troubleshooting, and evaluations of MEPF installations on building projects.
- You will work closely with the Project Manager to manage both technical and financial aspects, ensuring project success while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and execute installations in line with project specifications, standards, and timelines.
- Ensure seamless integration of MEPF systems with architectural and structural designs.
- Assist in developing project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Conduct inspections and evaluations to ensure compliance with technical drawings, design specifications, and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot technical issues on-site and provide engineering solutions.
- Prepare working and As-Built drawings reflecting executed installations.
- Represent MAR & MOR in client and consultant meetings, providing updates on project progress.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely and quality-compliant materials/services.
- Maintain accurate project records, including technical documents, inspection reports, and material submittals.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, highlighting milestones, challenges, and solutions.
- Assist with the preparation of handover documentation, including the Operation and Maintenance Manual.
- Provide technical guidance, support, and training to site personnel.
- Lead and motivate teams for excellence in execution.
Requirements
- BSc, B.Tech / HND, or M.Sc Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-NYSC experience in MEP building services.
- Previous site experience required.
