Mart Manager
Location: Ozubulu, Awka
Job Summary
The Mart Manager is responsible for overseeing retail operations, maximizing sales performance, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining inventory accuracy, and achieving profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the mart.
- Drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets.
- Supervise sales staff and monitor productivity.
- Ensure proper merchandising and product display standards.
- Monitor stock availability and coordinate replenishment.
- Conduct periodic stock counts and reconciliations.
- Ensure excellent customer service and customer retention.
- Monitor cash handling and daily sales reporting.
- Minimize inventory losses and shrinkage.
- Resolve customer complaints and operational issues.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper store presentation.
- Prepare operational and sales performance reports.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ retail management experience.
- Experience in supermarket or retail operations is highly desirable.
