Role Overview

  • We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Branch Accountant to support the Branch Accountant in managing daily financial operations and maintaining accurate accounting records within the branch.
  • The ideal candidate will assist with financial reporting, account reconciliation, transaction processing, and compliance activities while ensuring proper documentation and accuracy in all financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and processing daily accounting transactions.
  • Support the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management review.
  • Reconcile cash, bank transactions, customer accounts, and other financial records.
  • Assist in monitoring branch expenses and ensuring compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
  • Process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents accurately.
  • Support inventory and stock-related financial reconciliations where required.
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy of financial information and transaction records.
  • Support internal and external audit exercises by providing required documentation and reports.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND qualification in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or bookkeeping.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, and accounting software.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Female will be preferred.

Role Overview

  • We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Store Officer to manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of inventory while ensuring accurate stock records and efficient store operations.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting stock control activities, and ensuring that materials and products are properly handled and safeguarded at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, verify, and record incoming goods and materials in accordance with company procedures.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and arrangement of inventory for easy identification and accessibility.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issues, transfers, and returns.
  • Conduct routine stock counts and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor inventory levels and promptly report low stock levels or discrepancies.
  • Issue materials and products to authorized personnel while maintaining proper documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures and company policies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure store environment.
  • Prepare periodic inventory and stock movement reports.
  • Support internal audits and stock verification exercises as required.

Key Requirements

  • B.Sc., HND, or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Female candiates are preferred.
