Job Summary
- A leading player in the financial services industry is looking to hire an experienced and detail-oriented Fund Accountant to join its Finance team.
- This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in asset management, fund accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare reports on yields, NAVs, and fund distributions
- Perform daily accounting operations for assigned funds
- Handle month-end reconciliations and account closings
- Support annual audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting
- Monitor fund cashflows and expenses
- Generate financial statements and management reports
- Analyze accounting discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Drive process improvements for enhanced financial performance.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- ACA or ACCA qualification is mandatory
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Fund Accounting or a similar role
- Experience within Asset Management, Securities, Advisory, or Trustees business
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and risk management
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and analytical skills.
