About the Role:
- This role is responsible for the daily operations of the assigned Nigerian warehouse, ensuring the correctness of inventory and adherence to standard operating procedures. The detailed scope of tasks is as follows:
Warehouse Management:
- Correctly store all inventories at the warehouse and keep accurate records of all transactions relating to stock movement in order to eliminate the opportunity for losses or fraud
- Conduct periodical stock verification and ensure the correctness of stock. Work with the manager to avoid stock outages at all times by adopting best practices.
- Adopt standard safety measures for safe warehouse operations. Regularly check for defects and expirations to avoid any damage or loss.
- Maintain a well-arranged and clean warehouse at all times and adhere to all organization standard operating procedures for warehouse management
Materials Handling and Deliveries:
- Receive and dispatch goods at the warehouse accurately by qualifying the quantities, quality, and specifications. Use and update the right documentation for all material transfers and movements.
- Own the quality control process for goods delivered to the warehouse by suppliers and communicate effectively with the relevant stakeholders for decision-making
- Coordinate timely document transmission for all deliveries and escalate matters requiring the attention of the Supply Chain Coordinator or Systems Lead
System Administration and Reporting
- Collaborate with Data Coordinators to ensure accurate and timely data entry

- For this role specifically, you will have:
Knowledge and Experience:
- 1-2 experience in warehouse/inventory management
- Diploma or a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in the supply chain, economics, business administration, or related fields from recognized institutions
- Demonstrated computer skills and proficiency in email, internet usage, Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Google Suite for data analysis, presentation, and report writing
- Proactive in identifying and solving problems
- Demonstrates integrity and a positive attitude
- Language: fluent in English and Hausa (mandatory) and has a good understanding of local communities and cultures in Bauchi State , e.g. Warji ,Sayawa, Dass, Geruma etc
- Passionate about serving smallholder farmers

Method of Application
About the Role:
- The Innovations Supervisor would work in the Innovations department to design and execute trials, manage a team of Trial Officers/Assistants and coordinate all field implementations of product trials.
Responsibilities include:
- The Innovations supervisor may also be requested to fulfil other tasks not listed here, as requested by the manager, to achieve the mission of One Acre Fund.
Trial Design and Planning:
- Support the planning and designing of field trials
- Support site selection for trials, to be representative of agro-ecological zones of One Acre Fund’s operation regions
- Supervise Trial farmers’ selection, Enrolment, Training and Input Delivery
- Monitor Trial plot set-up and establishment
- Ensure up-to-date monitoring and reporting of field activities
- Manage and Update Project Dashboard and map activities to timelines
- Prepare, Monitor and Administer budget for all field activities
- Prepare weekly and monthly field activity reports
- Monitor and report risks and constraints to trial execution and success
Supervision, Execution and Management:
- Monitor key benchmarks and Key Performance Indicators of trials, such as Enrollment, Compliance and Data Quality
- Monitor the progress of trial enrollment and execution and report to line manager
- Update and monitor project dashboards in a timely and accurate manner
- Participate in staff weekly meetings as well as field visits to trial sites
- Collate field feedback and share with the line managers for improved data quality, efficiency of resources, and trial execution
- Track the progress of trial enrollment and execution and report to line manager
- Work with the line manager to identify and troubleshoot issues /challenges in trial enrollment and execution
- Monitor data quality and identify trends in errors
People Management:
- Provide field-facing support and training to Innovations Officers/Assistants
- Manage the Trial Officer’s KPIs for monitoring and reporting by the specified deadline
- Support periodic performance reviews of Innovations Officers/Assistants
- Hold regular check-ins with direct reports (Innovations Officers/Assistants)
Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience:
- At least 1-2 years of coordinating and managing field trials and implementation
- Proven ability in problem-solving and training facilitation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Permanent Resident in any of the location advertised above
Technical skills:
- Ability to use computer and software tools such as Microsoft Office Suite/Google Workspace (Word/Docs and Excel/Sheets)
- Proven knowledge base and experience in Research, Project Management, Agronomy, Animal Husbandry and Trials Implementation, as well as coordination of field-based team
- 1 to 2 years of experience in collating, cleaning, auditing and analyzing simple to complex datasets
- Ability to develop and manage project trackers and dashboards with little manager support
