Hotel Executive Housekeeper
Job Summary
- An Executive Housekeeper is responsible for managing the housekeeping department in a hotel and ensuring that all rooms, public areas, and facilities are clean, organized, and properly maintained.
Main Roles
- Supervision of Housekeeping Staff: They supervise room attendants, cleaners, laundry staff, and housekeeping supervisors to ensure duties are properly carried out.
- Maintaining Cleanliness Standards: They ensure guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, offices, and public areas meet the hotel’s cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Room Inspection: Executive housekeepers inspect rooms and facilities regularly to ensure quality service and readiness for guests.
- Staff Training and Scheduling: They train housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and customer service. They also prepare staff duty rosters and schedules.
- Inventory and Supplies Management: They monitor and control housekeeping supplies such as linens, towels, toiletries, and cleaning materials.
- Laundry Operations Supervision: They oversee laundry activities to ensure hotel linens and guest clothing are properly cleaned and handled.
- Coordination with Other Departments: They work closely with the front office, maintenance, and management departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.
- Handling Guest Requests and Complaints: They respond to guest concerns relating to cleanliness, laundry, or room conditions and ensure quick resolution.
