Testing Troubleshooter
Job Summary
The Testing Troubleshooter is responsible for identifying, diagnosing, and resolving faults or technical issues during product testing and production processes. The role ensures that all products meet quality and operational standards before release. The Testing Troubleshooter works closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to minimize downtime and improve product performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of products, equipment, or systems during and after production.
- Identify defects, faults, and technical issues using testing tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Analyze test results and determine root causes of failures.
- Carry out corrective actions and repairs on faulty components or systems.
- Ensure all testing procedures comply with company quality and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of testing activities, defects identified, and corrective measures taken.
- Escalate unresolved technical issues to the Engineering or Technical team when necessary.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce product defects and improve efficiency.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on testing equipment.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to achieve production targets and quality objectives.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of testing tools and equipment.
- Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations within the workplace.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting, testing, or technical support within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Good understanding of testing procedures, electrical systems, and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and quality standards.
