Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer
Job Summary
- We are looking for a proactive and experienced Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer to oversee and implement safety policies across our real estate and construction projects.
- The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements while promoting a strong safety culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports
- Organize safety training and awareness programs for staff and contractors
- Maintain accurate records of safety performance and compliance
- Advise management on HSE improvements and best practices
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) on sites.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HSE within real estate or construction industry
- Professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and environmental standards
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple project sites.
