Job Summary
- Harvest Feeds and Agro Processing Ltd is seeking an experienced and competent Utility Engineer to oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of utility systems within the facility. The ideal candidate must possess strong technical knowledge of water treatment systems, boiler operations, and power generation/distribution to ensure efficient and uninterrupted plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and maintain water treatment and distribution systems
- Oversee boiler operations and ensure safe and efficient performance
- Monitor power generation and distribution systems to ensure continuous supply
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of utility equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve utility-related breakdowns and operational issues
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate records of utility operations and maintenance activities
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to support plant operations
- Identify opportunities for energy efficiency and cost reduction
Requirements
- Minimum of HND/B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in utility management within a manufacturing or processing environment
- Practical experience in water treatment systems, boiler operations, and power generation/distribution
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices
- Ability to lead teams and work under pressure
- Proficiency in preparing technical reports and maintenance records
Added Advantage
- Professional engineering certification or membership of a relevant professional body
- Experience in agro-processing, or manufacturing industries
- Knowledge of energy management and utility optimization techniques

- Harvest Feeds and Agro Processing Ltd is seeking a competent and reliable Gas Generator Operator to oversee the operation, monitoring, and basic maintenance of gas-powered generators. The ideal candidate will ensure uninterrupted power supply while maintaining safety and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor gas generators to ensure continuous power supply
- Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance checks
- Monitor generator performance and report any faults or abnormalities
- Maintain accurate operational and maintenance records
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies
- Coordinate with the maintenance team during repairs and servicing
- Keep the generator area clean and organized
Requirements
- Minimum of OND, Trade Test, or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
- 1–3 years of experience operating gas generators or similar equipment
- Basic knowledge of generator maintenance and troubleshooting
- Good understanding of safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Good record-keeping and reporting skills
Added Advantage
- Experience in a manufacturing or processing environment
- Technical certification related to power generation or mechanical operations
