ICT Teacher
As an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Teacher, you will develop digital literacy and technical skills in students. You will plan and deliver engaging curricula, manage computer labs, and assess student progress. Additionally, you will ensure software and hardware are fully operational and promote safe internet practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging ICT lessons that match educational standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Skill Development: Teach essential digital literacy, such as the use of office suites (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace), internet safety, and foundational programming (e.g., Python, Scratch).
- Assessment & Reporting: Develop assignments, quizzes, and practical tests to evaluate student progress; provide constructive feedback to support continuous growth.
- Lab Management: Oversee the school’s computer laboratories, ensuring all hardware (computers, projectors, peripherals) is functional, secure, and well-maintained.
- Student Support: Act as a mentor, guiding students in exploring ICT-related career paths and assisting with technical issues during class projects.
