Factory Supervisor/Keyline Expert – Paper Packaging
Role Description
- This is a full-time, on-site Factory Supervisor/Keyline Expert role based in Lagos. The role involves overseeing daily factory operations for paper packaging production, including supervising production lines, monitoring workflow, and ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
- The Factory Supervisor/Keyline Expert will manage keyline and die-cut layout processes, optimize machine setups, and coordinate with design and production teams to ensure accurate and efficient packaging outputs.
- Responsibilities include planning and scheduling production runs, monitoring material usage, minimizing waste, and ensuring products meet quality and specification requirements.
- The role also includes guiding and mentoring production staff, maintaining production records and reports, and collaborating with maintenance and operations teams to resolve issues and improve overall efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Production Planning and Production Management to schedule, coordinate, and oversee end-to-end manufacturing activities.
- Proficiency in Quality Control to ensure finished paper packaging meets technical specifications, safety standards, and customer requirements.
- Experience in Operations Management and Manufacturing Operations to optimize factory processes, reduce downtime, and improve productivity.
- Expertise with keyline design, die-cut layouts, and converting processes for paper-based packaging, including practical knowledge of relevant machinery.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or packaging environment, preferably in paper packaging or related industries.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills, with the ability to lead and motivate diverse production teams.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental standards in factory operations, with a commitment to sustainable practices.
- Relevant technical or engineering qualification (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering) or equivalent industry experience.
