EV Technician
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and servicing of electric vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical faults in EVs.
- Conduct battery health assessments and monitor battery performance.
- Inspect and maintain EV charging systems and related equipment.
- Replace or repair defective components, including motors, batteries, controllers, and wiring systems.
- Utilize diagnostic software and tools to identify vehicle faults and system errors.
- Analyze technical data and fault codes to determine repair requirements.
- Test vehicle systems after repairs to ensure proper functionality.
- Troubleshoot charging issues and battery management system (BMS) faults.
- Follow high-voltage electrical safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and repair reports.
Job Requirement
- Minimum of SSCE Result
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of electric vehicle technology, battery systems, and charging infrastructure, proximity to the Island is important
