Role Description
- This is a full-time, on-site role located in Port Harcourt for a Senior Piping Engineer.
- The role involves designing and analysing piping systems, performing calculations, conducting stress analysis, and developing piping layouts.
- Responsibilities also include collaborating with project teams to ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of piping systems.
- The Senior Piping Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and company requirements while working closely with other engineering disciplines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Piping Design and expertise in Piping System Analysis
- Strong skills in Pipe Stress Analysis and Calculations
- Experience working with various piping materials and specifications
- In-depth understanding of industry standards and codes related to piping
- Ability to manage and lead projects, providing technical guidance to team members
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in engineering tasks
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
- Previous experience in the oil and gas industry is a strong advantage
