Operations Manager
Job Summary
- The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the garage, ensuring efficient vehicle repair and maintenance services.
- This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and a customer-first mindset to deliver high-quality service while maintaining profitability and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily repair and maintenance activities, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of jobs.
- Lead mechanics, technicians, and support staff, providing training and performance evaluations.
- Implement inspection protocols to guarantee repairs meet safety and performance standards.
- Manage spare parts, tools, and consumables to avoid shortages and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with service advisors to ensure clear communication and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor workshop expenses, optimize resource allocation, and drive profitability.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards in the workshop.
- Introduce best practices and modern diagnostic tools to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in vehicle repair and maintenance operations.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures.
- Proficiency in workshop management systems and ERP tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
