We are seeking an accomplished, innovative, and results-driven engineering executive to lead the Airport\’s Engineering & Infrastructure Directorate and drive the delivery of safe, reliable, and world-class airport infrastructure.
The Opportunity
The Chief Engineering & Infrastructure Officer will provide strategic leadership for the planning, development, maintenance, modernization, and lifecycle management of the Airport\’s engineering assets, infrastructure, utilities, and technical systems. Reporting to Executive Management, the successful candidate will oversee engineering operations, capital development projects, asset management, sustainability initiatives, and regulatory compliance while ensuring uninterrupted airport operations and long-term infrastructure resilience.
What You\’ll Do
- Develop and implement the Airport\’s Engineering & Infrastructure Strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
- Provide executive oversight for engineering operations, airfield infrastructure, terminal facilities, utilities, technical services, and asset management.
- Lead infrastructure modernization, capital development programmes, and engineering innovation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs), Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations (NCARs), environmental requirements, and applicable engineering standards.
- Drive engineering governance, maintenance excellence, asset optimisation, energy efficiency, sustainability, and business continuity initiatives.
- Advise Executive Management on engineering investments, infrastructure planning, technical risk, and operational resilience.
- Build and lead a high-performing engineering team while fostering a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What We\’re Looking For
- Bachelor\’s Degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, Structural, or Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- A Master\’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, Business Administration (MBA), Infrastructure Management, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Registration with COREN and membership of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) or other relevant professional engineering bodies is required. Additional project management or asset management certifications will be an advantage.
- Minimum of 15 years\’ progressive engineering experience, including at least 7 years in a senior leadership role managing large-scale engineering operations, infrastructure, or capital projects.
- Demonstrated experience in engineering strategy, asset lifecycle management, facilities management, capital project delivery, maintenance planning, utilities management, and engineering governance.
- Strong leadership, commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.
- Experience in aviation, airports, transportation, infrastructure, utilities, oil & gas, or other highly regulated industries will be an added advantage.

We are seeking an accomplished, visionary, and results-oriented aviation security professional to lead the Airport\’s Security Directorate and safeguard its people, operations, and critical infrastructure.
The Opportunity
The Chief Security Officer (CSO) will provide strategic leadership for all aviation security operations, ensuring the Airport maintains the highest standards of safety, security, regulatory compliance, and operational resilience. Reporting to Executive Management, the successful candidate will oversee the development and implementation of an integrated Airport Security Management System while working closely with aviation regulators, national security agencies, airlines, and other key stakeholders to protect the Airport against evolving security threats.
What You\’ll Do
- Develop and implement the Airport\’s Security Strategy and Aviation Security Programme.
- Lead all aviation security operations, including passenger and baggage screening, access control, perimeter security, surveillance, investigations, and emergency security response.
- Ensure compliance with ICAO Standards, Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations (NCARs), the National Civil Aviation Security Programme (NCASP), and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Build strong partnerships with the NCAA, FAAN, security agencies, airlines, and other critical stakeholders.
- Lead security risk assessments, incident investigations, threat management, crisis response, and business continuity initiatives.
- Drive the adoption of modern security technologies, intelligence-led operations, and continuous improvement programmes.
- Build and lead a high-performing security team while promoting a proactive security culture across the Airport.
What We\’re Looking For
- Bachelor\’s Degree in Security Management, Criminology, Law, Military Science, Aviation Management, Public Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A Master\’s Degree in Security Studies, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Relevant professional certifications in aviation security, security management, risk management, or emergency management will be an advantage.
- Minimum of 15 years\’ progressive security experience, including at least 7 years in a senior leadership role within aviation, airports, defence, law enforcement, or another highly regulated environment.
- Demonstrated experience in aviation security operations, security risk management, crisis management, investigations, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, decision-making, communication, and people management skills.
- High integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to lead effectively in a dynamic operational environment.
