Medical Sonographer
Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sonographer to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound scans to assess and monitor medical conditions
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment efficiently and safely
- Analyze and interpret ultrasound images, identifying normal and abnormal findings
- Provide clear, accurate reports to attending physicians
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and proper communication throughout procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient data and examination results
- Adhere to quality assurance standards, protocols, and hospital policies
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
- Support equipment maintenance and promptly report any faults or issues
- Stay updated with advancements in sonography and participate in continuous professional development
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Sonography or Medical Imaging
- Sonography medical valid working licence
- 2-3 years working experience
- Proven experience in diagnostic ultrasound practice
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
