Supply Chain Manager (QSR)

Job Summary

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for planning, sourcing, procurement coordination, inventory optimization, warehousing oversight, supplier performance, distribution efficiency, and end-to-end supply chain execution across all Uncle Stan’s Foods branches.

This role ensures the right products, ingredients, packaging, consumables, and operational supplies are available at the right time, in the right quantity, at the right cost, while minimizing wastage, stockouts, theft, and operational disruptions.

The Supply Chain Manager will drive cost control, standardization, vendor accountability, demand forecasting, and process efficiency to support Uncle Stan’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Planning & Demand Forecasting

  • Develop supply plans based on historical sales, promotions, seasonality, and branch demand.
  • Forecast raw materials, packaging, beverages, cleaning supplies, and consumables.
  • Prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
  • Align supply planning with operations and production schedules.
  • Support new branch openings with launch inventory planning.

Procurement & Strategic Sourcing

  • Source quality suppliers for food ingredients, packaging, kitchen consumables, uniforms, cleaning materials, and operational supplies.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, rebates, and service level agreements.
  • Build approved vendor lists and supplier scorecards.
  • Conduct periodic supplier evaluations.
  • Reduce procurement costs without compromising quality.

Inventory Management

  • Oversee stock control across central stores and branches.
  • Set reorder levels, min/max stock thresholds, and replenishment cycles.
  • Monitor inventory turnover and aging stock.
  • Drive inventory accuracy through stock counts and reconciliation.
  • Reduce pilferage, shrinkage, expiry losses, and wastage.

Warehouse / Store Operations

  • Oversee storekeeping standards and warehouse organization.
  • Ensure FIFO/FEFO compliance.
  • Maintain inventory handling standards.
  • Ensure proper receiving, storage, issuance, and documentation.
  • Coordinate periodic audits.

Distribution & Logistics Coordination

  • Manage movement of goods between suppliers, warehouse, and branches.
  • Optimize delivery schedules and route efficiency.
  • Ensure timely branch replenishment.
  • Coordinate with fleet/logistics teams.
  • Resolve supply disruptions quickly.

Supplier Relationship Management

  • Build strong supplier partnerships.
  • Monitor supplier quality, reliability, lead times, pricing consistency, and service performance.
  • Resolve vendor disputes.
  • Identify alternate suppliers to reduce supply risk.

Cost Control & Efficiency

  • Track food cost impact from procurement decisions.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Standardize purchasing processes.
  • Reduce emergency purchases.
  • Improve procurement governance and approval discipline.

Compliance & Quality Control

  • Ensure suppliers meet food safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain procurement documentation and contract records.
  • Ensure proper receiving quality checks.
  • Support audit readiness and internal control compliance.

Data, Reporting & Analysis

Prepare reports on:

  • Stock availability

  • Inventory turnover

  • Emergency purchases
  • Cost variance analysis

Requirements/Experience

  • 5–8+ years supply chain / procurement / inventory management experience
  • Minimum 3 years in managerial role
  • QSR / FMCG / food manufacturing / retail experience strongly preferred
  • Multi-location operations experience preferred
