PURPOSE
To strategically manage and coordinate warehouse and depot operations across multiple locations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, inventory control, preservation, security, and dispatch of raw materials, packaging materials, finished products, and other inventory items while maintaining stock accuracy, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
THE JOB
- Develop and implement warehouse management strategies, policies, and operational plans to support business objectives.
- Oversee the efficient receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of raw materials, packaging materials, additives, and finished products across all warehouses and depots.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure real-time reconciliation between physical stock and ERP systems.
- Conduct cycle counts, stock verification exercises, and investigations into inventory variances while implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with FIFO, FEFO, and inventory rotation principles to minimize losses, damages, and product obsolescence.
- Manage finished goods warehouses and depots to ensure timely order fulfillment, product traceability, and stock availability.
- Oversee relationships with third-party warehouse operators and logistics partners, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and operational standards.
THE PERSON MUST
- Demonstrate strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to lead multi-site warehouse operations.
- Possess extensive knowledge of warehouse management, inventory control, logistics, and supply chain operations.
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to improve operational efficiency and inventory accuracy.
QUALIFICATION
- HND/bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, Agriculture, Industrial Management, or a related discipline.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 8–12 years of experience in Warehouse, Inventory, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.

Method of Application
PURPOSE
To run the mill efficiently to achieve consistent product quality that meets both the customers’ expectations and the company set targets.
THE JOB
- Drive a positive Health & Safety culture.
- Effective management of raw materials, to ensure efficiency of the milling process for intermediate and finished products.
- Assist the Chief Miller in achieving optimum performance of the milling process.
- Ensure good quality flour and co-products by performing in-process checks, adhering to HACCP and GMP standards, and promptly addressing quality deviations.
- Direct management and motivation of production team via on-the-job trainings to enhance milling skills.
- Maintain accurate production monitoring, documentation and record-keeping.
- Ensure good hygiene and house-keeping practices within the production environment.
- Identify equipment faults and coordinate with maintenance stakeholders to minimize unplanned downtime, loss-time and waste generation.
- Ensure effective cost control of the milling inputs, energy and manpower.
THE PERSON MUST
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Pay keen attention to details and be highly organized.
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Be proficient with Microsoft office suite or related software.
QUALIFICATIONS
- First Degree in Engineering or Science/Certification in Intermediate & Final NABIM.
- PGD in Milling Technology & Quality Control.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5 years cognate experience in similar role.
- Membership of National Association of British & Irish Millers.
