Job Summary

  • The Business Development Executive is responsible for assisting the company in acquiring new customers and developing opportunities to sell additional products or services to existing clients.

Job Requirements:

  • HND/BSc in Sales & Marketing or a related field
  • Well exposed to B2B and B2C marketing
  • Prior experience in flour or baking products is compulsory
  • Willingness to travel within assigned locations
  • Role is transferable; posting may be anywhere in Nigeria/West Africa based on business needs

Job Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-Day Management
  • Conduct regular customer visits to drive business development and support ongoing projects
  • Handle customer complaints and follow up with technical teams for resolution and product trials
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
  • Acquire new customers and expand business with existing ones
  • Identify and target key potential customers (industries, factories, catering contractors)
  • Promote products and applications to drive market penetration
  • Achieve assigned sales targets across products, regions, and key accounts
  • Execute and follow up on sales strategies and operational plans
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Support the organization of business meetings, seminars, and engagement activities

Job Summary

The Sales Manager – Animal Feeds will be responsible for driving sales growth, market penetration, and customer relationships for poultry and fish feed products across Nigeria. The role requires a results-driven professional with deep market knowledge and proven experience in managing feed sales, distributors, and key accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve volume, revenue, and market share targets for poultry and fish feed.
  • Manage and grow distributor, dealer, and key farm accounts across assigned regions.
  • Identify new business opportunities, emerging markets, and high-potential customers.
  • Build strong relationships with large poultry farms, fish farms, integrators, and commercial producers.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a regional sales team to improve performance and coverage.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing, and customer feedback.
  • Coordinate with technical, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely supply and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and regular performance reports.
  • Support product positioning, demonstrations, and farmer engagement programs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, credit terms, and ethical sales practices.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in animal science, Agriculture, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of proven sales experience in animal feeds, with strong exposure to poultry and fish feed.
  • Demonstrated success in managing distributor networks and key accounts in Nigeria.
  • In-depth understanding of the Nigerian poultry and aquaculture feed markets.
  • Experience leading and developing a sales team .

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills.
  • Sound understanding of feed formulations, farm economics, and customer pain points.
  • Strategic thinking with strong execution and follow-through.
  • Analytical skills for sales planning, forecasting, and performance tracking.
