Human Resources Manager

Role Description

  • The Human Resources Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing human resource strategies, policies, and practices that support the organization’s business objectives. The role oversees all HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and compliance with labor laws.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Management

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Advise management on HR-related matters and workforce planning
  • Support organizational change initiatives and culture development

Recruitment & Talent Management

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and selection processes
  • Develop talent pipelines and succession planning frameworks
  • Oversee onboarding and orientation programs

Performance Management

  • Design and manage performance appraisal systems
  • Support managers in setting KPIs and managing employee performance
  • Identify training and development needs

Employee Relations

  • Manage employee engagement initiatives
  • Handle disciplinary processes, grievances, and conflict resolution
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture

Compensation & Benefits

  • Administer payroll inputs, compensation structures, and benefits programs
  • Conduct salary reviews and market benchmarking
  • Ensure fair and competitive reward practices

Learning & Development

  • Identify training needs and coordinate learning programs
  • Support leadership development and capacity building
  • Track training effectiveness and ROI

HR Policies & Compliance

  • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation

HR Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare HR reports and dashboards for management
  • Monitor HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and engagement
  • Provide insights to support decision-making

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent) is an advantage
  • Minimum of 5–8 years of HR experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
