Finance Officer
- Maintain accurate financial records, including income, expenses, and general ledger entries
- Monitor daily revenue from rides, driver remittances, and platform transactions
- Reconcile bank statements, wallets, and payment gateways
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Ensure timely invoicing and follow-up on outstanding payments
- Track operational costs such as fuel, maintenance, driver incentives, and commissions
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory deductions, and financial policies
- Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations
- Monitor cash flow and advise management on financial health
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls
- Collaborate with operations and IT teams for accurate financial data integration requirement
- 2–5 years of relevant experience (preferably in transport, logistics, or fintech)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with payment platforms and digital financial systems proximity to the island is an added advantage
