Facility Manager
Job Summary
- The Facility Manager is responsible for ensuring that all company facilities are well-maintained, safe, efficient, and fully operational.
- This role involves managing building systems, maintenance activities, vendor contracts, budgets, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Manage vendor relationships and service contracts (e.g., housekeeping, security, HVAC, landscaping).
- Plan and manage facility-related budgets and expenditures.
- Coordinate space management, layout planning, and office relocations.
- Monitor energy usage and implement sustainability initiatives.
- Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and repairs.
- Maintain records of maintenance, inspections, and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of experience in facility management or building operations.
- Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, etc.).
- Strong understanding of safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Experience managing multiple sites.
Additional Information:
- Work Environment: Office-based with regular site visits; may require on-call availability for emergencies.
