Position Overview

  • We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Manager to join our growing consulting practice.
  • The successful candidate will have 12–15 years of professional experience, with a significant portion gained within a global consulting firm or a reputable indigenous consulting firm.
  • The role requires a strong consulting professional with proven expertise in strategy development, business transformation, organisational effectiveness, operating model design, change management, and business performance improvement.
  • The Senior Manager will be responsible for leading consulting engagements from opportunity identification through proposal development, project execution, client relationship management, and engagement closure.
  • The individual will also play a key role in business development, practice growth, thought leadership, and mentoring consulting teams.
  • This position requires a commercially minded consulting leader capable of delivering end-to-end assignments while contributing significantly to the firm’s revenue growth and market positioning.

Key Responsibilities
Consulting Engagement Delivery:

  • Lead and manage consulting assignments from initiation to completion.
  • Deliver end-to-end consulting engagements including diagnostics, strategy formulation, transformation planning, implementation support, and performance monitoring.
  • Develop practical recommendations and implementation roadmaps that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within scope, timeline, quality standards, and budget.
  • Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while maintaining service excellence.

Business Transformation & Change Management:

  • Lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives across strategy, operations, people, processes, and technology.
  • Support clients in organizational restructuring, operating model redesign, process optimization, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Design and implement change management strategies that drive stakeholder adoption and business results.
  • Facilitate leadership alignment and stakeholder engagement throughout transformation programs.

Strategy Development & Execution:

  • Lead strategic planning engagements and support clients in translating strategy into execution.
  • Conduct market, industry, competitor, and organizational assessments.
  • Develop business growth strategies, operational improvement plans, and transformation frameworks.
  • Monitor implementation progress and ensure realization of intended benefits.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with C-suite executives and senior business leaders.
  • Serve as the primary engagement lead for key client accounts.
  • Understand client priorities and proactively identify opportunities to create additional value.
  • Drive client satisfaction and long-term relationship development.

Business Development & Practice Growth:

  • Lead business development initiatives and contribute to revenue generation targets.
  • Identify new consulting opportunities and convert leads into engagements.
  • Develop high-quality proposals, presentations, and client pitches.
  • Participate in networking activities, industry forums, conferences, and strategic partnerships.
  • Support the development of new service offerings and consulting solutions.
  • Contribute to the firm’s brand positioning and market expansion efforts.

Team Leadership & Capability Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop consultants and project teams.
  • Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance, and client-focused culture.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and capability-building initiatives within the consulting practice.

Key Qualifications & Experience
Education & Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Management, or a related discipline.
  • MBA, Master’s Degree, or other relevant postgraduate qualification is highly preferred.
  • Professional certifications in Project Management, Change Management, Strategy, Business Analysis, Process Improvement, or related disciplines are advantageous.
  • Membership of relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • 12–15 years of professional experience, with significant experience in management consulting.
  • Experience working with a global consulting firm or a leading indigenous consulting firm is required.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and delivering consulting engagements from proposal stage through execution and project closure.
  • Proven track record in strategy, transformation, organisational development, performance improvement, and change management projects.
  • Strong business development experience with evidence of revenue generation and client acquisition.

  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in financial modelling, corporate finance, investment analysis, transaction advisory, or strategy consulting
  • Strong expertise in enterprise valuation, investment analysis, and financial forecasting
  • Proven experience developing complex financial models for strategic decision-making
  • Strong understanding of business performance analysis and value creation drivers
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
  • Strong financial reporting and analytical capabilities
  • Excellent data visualisation and presentation development skills
  • Ability to analyse large and complex datasets with high attention to detail
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, consumer goods, or related industries is highly required
