Credit Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate loan requests with a focus on LPO and Invoice Discounting facilities.
- Conduct credit risk analysis using financial statements, bank data, and industry benchmarks.
- Perform due diligence and validate documents such as purchase orders, invoices, delivery notes, and contracts.
- Prepare and present detailed credit reports with recommendations to management/credit committee.
- Monitor approved credit facilities to ensure performance and early detection of default risks.
- Support collections and recovery processes as needed.
- Ensure all activities are compliant with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 5 years of proven experience as a Credit Analyst, preferably in a finance or lending institution.
- Strong background in LPO financing and invoice discounting is mandatory.
- Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and reporting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Professional certifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CFA, CIBN) are an added advantage.
