Assistant Lecturer – Computer Science
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and passionate individuals to join our academic team as Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc./B.Tech) in Computer Science or a related field with a minimum of Second Class Lower (2:2).
- NYSC Discharge, Exemption or Exclusion Certificate. • Must be computer literate with good practical skills in software and ICT tools.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
(ADDED ADVANTAGE)
- Master’s Degree (M.Sc./M.Tech) in Computer Science or related field.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, AWS, Oracle, CompTIA).
- Relevant teaching, industrial, or research experience.
- Publications in reputable journals or conference proceedings.
- Strong programming and ICT practical skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Teach and facilitate learning in Computer Science courses and related subjects.
- Prepare lesson notes, schemes of work, and assessment materials.
- Supervise practicals, projects, and industrial training.
- Conduct research and publish in relevant areas.
- Provide academic advice and mentorship to students.
- Participate in curriculum development and review.
- Perform departmental and institutional duties as assigned.
