• 101.7 YES FM, Ibadan is seeking a detail-oriented, reliable and proactive Accounting Officer to manage the station’s financial operations and ensure accuracy, compliance and sound financial reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field Must have minimum of 2 years of experience working as a financial Accountant
• Must reside within close proximity to the station location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receviable processes.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of transactions. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor financial transactions and resolve discrepancies. Support audit processes (internal and external).
• Utilize Sage 50 (US) effectively for accounting operations and reporting

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Good knowledge of
• financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools (Sage 50 (US))
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
