Role Description
- This is a full-time unpaid Volunteer role dedicated to supporting the foundation’s mission of serving children and communities in need. Day-to-day tasks may include heart 2 learning teaching outreach activities, assisting with digital fundraising campaigns, and helping manage communication with beneficiaries, partners, and supporters. The volunteer may contribute to content creation for social media and the website, help organize virtual events, and maintain accurate records of program activities. The role also involves collaborating with team members, responding to inquiries from potential donors or volunteers, and sharing regular updates on project progress. The volunteer is expected to be available during agreed hours, participate in online meetings, and uphold the foundation’s values of empathy, integrity, and respect.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to engage respectfully and clearly with diverse communities and stakeholders.
- Organizational and time-management abilities, including prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and working independently in a remote setting.
- Basic digital literacy, such as using email, video conferencing tools, and collaborative platforms; familiarity with social media or online outreach is an advantage.
- Demonstrated empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a genuine commitment to supporting children and individuals facing economic hardship.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment, respond constructively to feedback, and adapt to changing needs and priorities.
- Previous experience in volunteering, community service, education, social work, or nonprofit initiatives is beneficial but not required.
- Reliable internet access and a suitable remote work environment to enable consistent participation in online activities and meetings.
